Constitutions of Kansas Territory

In this section, you will find the Topeka, Lecompton, and Leavenworth Constitutions. They were written while Kansas was still a territory. None of these constitutions were accepted by the United States Congress. The Fourth Constitution that was accepted by the United States Congress is known as the Wyandotte Constitution.
